BEFORE CONTACTING US:

To help us assess your enquiry, please provide as much information as you can about the person you are researching, such as their full name, service number, regiment or corps, dates of service and date of birth, where known.

If you have any service records, military documents, medal paperwork, photographs or other material relating to their service, please mention this in your enquiry and, where possible, attach a copy. Even a document that appears relatively unimportant can contain information that helps us identify further avenues for research.

History Recon is a professional paid research service. While initial enquiries are welcome, detailed military research, record interpretation and service tracing are carried out on a fee-paying basis.
